Bhoys can land knockout blow

Celtic fans could hardly have imagined that their Champions League campaign could be going as well as it has and Brendan Rodgers’ team could take another giant step towards a first knockout stage appearance since 2013 with victory in Croatia on Tuesday night.

The Bhoys have lost just one of their five league-stage fixtures so far this season – a 7-1 thrashing at the hands of Borussia Dortmund in Germany – and they came away with a more than respectable point in a goalless draw with Serie A leaders Atalanta on their last Champions League away day.

Zagreb have also suffered their share of heavy defeats against German opposition this season, losing 9-2 and 3-0 to Bayern Munich at Dortmund respectively, while their run of five games without a win heading into this contest will be of concern to manager Nenad Bjelica.

This should give the visitors plenty of hope that they can come away with all three points, given that Celtic have won six of their last seven away matches across all competitions. The Scottish champions look a tempting prospect to back for victory at 5/4.

Dinamo Zagreb vs Celtic tip 1: Celtic to win @ 5/4 with bet365

Magnificent Maeda to hit headlines again

Celtic have scored 10 goals across their last four away fixtures and have also netted 10 times across their five Champions League games.

Japan forward Daizen Maeda has been the major threat, with three goals to his name so far. The 27-year-old is the only Bhoys player to have scored away from home in Europe this season and he also grabbed the leveller in the 1-1 draw with Club Brugge in their most recent tie.

Don’t be surprised if the talented forward finds himself on the scoresheet once again on Tuesday.

Dinamo Zagreb vs Celtic tip 2: Daezen Maeda to score any time @ 3/1 with bet365

Zagreb can play their part in exciting encounter

While Celtic have the quality to come away with victory, Dinamo have shown that they can test any defence on the continent this season.

The Blues have failed to score in only one Champions League game and in three of their other four ties both sides have scored. The latter outcome is the first leg of our 16/1 bet builder.

If Zagreb are to find the net, expect Marko Pjaca to have a say in it. The 29-year-old has three assists to his name in this season’s competition, two of those coming in the 4-1 win over Slovan Bratislava – the last European game in which they scored.

While Pjaca can split open the defence, Sandro Kulenovic will be aiming to finish the job. He has had four shots on target from five attempts so far in Europe – scoring three goals – and looks a promising option to test Kasper Schmeichel in the visitors’ goal.

Dinamo Zagreb vs Celtic tip 3: Both teams to score, Marko Pjaca to have over 0.5 assists and Sandro Kulenovic over 0.5 shots on target @ 16/1 with bet365
