Lille to extend unbeaten run

Since their opening loss to Sporting Lisbon, Lille have taken things to another level in the Champions League, beating Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Bologna, and drawing with Juventus.

They went into Matchday 6 in 12th place in the 36-team table, one of seven sides on 10 points, and can enhance their chances of automatic qualification for the round of 16 with a win over Sturm Graz.

The Austrian club have lost four of their five games in the competition, scoring just two goals in the process, and Lille should have the confidence and momentum to claim three points.

Tip: Lille to beat Sturm Graz @ 12/25 with bet365

Out-of-sorts City can claim big win

Unthinkable just weeks ago, it’s a bold move to get behind Manchester City in a big game right now.

Pep Guardiola’s men ended a seven-match winless sequence with a 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest last week, but were again held in a 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

For some pundits, that spelled the end of City’s Premier League title hopes, but that will surely mean they place more emphasis on the Champions League and they are worth backing to win at Juventus.

Juve are not exactly an unstoppable force this term, having failed to win any of their previous three Champions League games against Stuttgart, Lille and Aston Villa, and City can claim maximum points.

Tip: Manchester City to beat Juventus @ 1/1 with bet365

Benfica to prolong Bologna misery

In 14th spot ahead of Matchday 6, Benfica are comfortably inside the Champions League play-off positions and they could move closer to the top eight with a win over struggling Bologna.

While the Primeira Liga club have won three of their five fixtures in the competition, Bologna’s debut appearance has been seriously underwhelming.

After a goalless draw with Shakhtar Donetsk, the Serie A side have lost their next four ties and their consolation strike against Lille on matchday five is their only goal in the tournament.

Tip: Benfica to beat Bologna @ 4/7 with bet365

Atletico look unstoppable

A 4-3 comeback win over Sevilla on Sunday made it nine victories on the spin in all competitions for Atletico Madrid, who should ease past Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Atleti have been exceptional going forwards recently, scoring 18 goals in their past four assignments.

That run included a 6-0 win over Sparta Prague in the Czech Republic and another thrashing could be on the cards when they play host to Slovan, who went into Matchday 6 in 35th with no points and having shipped 18 goals in five matches. Back Atletico to win this clash by three goals or more.

Tip: Atletico Madrid vs Slovan Bratislava: Atletico -2 goals on handicap @ 8/11 with bet365

Arsenal can edge past Monaco

Arsenal were denied a victory on Sunday as Bukayo Saka’s late effort against Fulham was chalked off by VAR for Gabriel Martinelli being offside, but the Gunners have improved significantly of late.

The return of Martin Odegaard has made a big difference to their attack and they have won four of their past five matches, crushing Sporting Lisbon 5-1 on Matchday 5 of the Champions League.

This could be a much tighter affair, with Monaco level on points with the Gunners and just one place below them in the league table. Three of their five games in this competition have been settled by a single goal, so back Arsenal to win a match featuring no more than two goals.

Tip: Arsenal vs Monaco – Arsenal to win and under 2.5 goals @ 13/5 with bet365
